Aloha!
My name is Tracy and I have a drive and passion for weaving together the sacred with the practical, the magical with the mundane, the Yin with the Yang. I am a FUNctionaly fairy + grounded mystic who has dedicated the past 20 years of this life to learning about the Body-Mind-Spirit intelligence through various forms. My deep-seeded intrigue for unveiling our human potential is Divinely paired with a deep compassion for humankind. I help guide evolving humans into an exploration of their inner landscape while holding a space that feels inviting, supportive and safe to dive deeper into self-inquiry and embrace their personal sovereignty.
I came to this path after surviving the normalized abnormalities of an unstable upbringing that is all-too-common in America, I was introduced to yoga just months shy of turning 21. For the first time, I felt alive, free and connected to something that was beyond my linear understanding that gleamed hope for my life’s potential. This feeling was so tremendous that it inspired me to trade in my impressionable explorations of cigarettes, bongs and beers for the pursuit of a more spiritual and soul-based path.
This path led me to a new home base in Denver, CO and opened the door for what would unexpectedly be, a life-long profession in healing arts and bodywork realm. My yoga practice waxed and waned for 8 years until I came to what felt like an impasse in my life. I returned to my mat with fervor, practicing once (if not twice) a day. The consistent practice catapulted me into being a living yoga practice and soon after, this stirred the destined teacher inside of me. I embraced my teaching studentship in the same way that I did in the healing arts realm, with an open heart, a beginners mind, and slew of trainings to satiate my hunger for learning. I took my first 200hr training in 2011 followed by a second 200hr in 2012. I participated in countless trainings, workshops, classes and retreats, some of whom include Buffy Barfoot, Katrina Gustafson, Lisa Theis, Saul David Raye, Psalm Isadora and Jeremy Wolf.
I have long been inspired by Shiva Rea, yoga dance, and have co-led a number of flow art retreats with Naiasa Institute where I taught yoga + the joy of hoop dance.
After completing my first Yin Yoga training with Mike Ninomiya, I absolved most of my flow-based yoga offerings to focus on crafting a more yin-based practice, which synergistically reflected the style of bodywork that I had practiced and studied for years. In 2016 I created Yinnovative Yoga™ as a sister adjunct to my healing business, Synchronicity. 4 years later, after developing and teaching this style almost exclusively, it began to feel relevant to weave Vinyasa back into my repertoire and unite both the Yin + Yang for a more Holistic and full-spectrum yoga offering. In Spring of 2020, I completed my 300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher training with Gina Caputo(creator of Integrated Vinyasa™ Yoga) and Tracey Garcia.
Today, I am inspired more than ever to synthesize and weave the potent wisdom of this collective body of knowledge into practices that satiate my students’ thirst for both the practical and mystical forces that govern life. I believe that within each person lives an inner physician and Guru, and that when one intentionally lives in Synchronicity with their own breath, energy and awareness, their unique alchemy unlocks and becomes the very source of their own healing and awakening.
I believe the wisdom contained within this material are keys to help create a new future of Yoga as Medicine!
It is my duty and dharma to be a guide in its’ unfolding,
Welcome Yinnovators!
